TinnaGunnarsdóttir

In 2013, Tinna packed  up her silversmithing workshop, which had been one part of her multi-faceted design journey. Other things took over: teaching, doctoral studies, various design projects and travel. Now Tinna is picking up her silversmithing tools again and plans to use the next three months to think with her hands.

Tinna studied design in England, Germany, and Italy. Her work has been widely exhibited and she has participated in numerous international design projects. For twelve years, she worked as Professor and Programme Director of Product Design at the Iceland University of the Arts. She is now about to complete her doctoral thesis at the University of Iceland, titled Touching Landscape: The Agency of Aesthetic Engagement.

The project is supported by The Museum Fund
