TinnaGunnarsdóttirinresidency

In 2013, Tinna packed up her silversmithing workshop, which had been part of her diverse design journey. Other things took over: teaching, doctoral studies, various design projects, and travel. Now, Tinna is picking up her silversmithing tools again and settling into the residency space at the Museum of Design and Applied Art in Iceland. She plans to use the next three months to think with her hands. It will be exciting journey to follow.

Alongside the house warming party, an exhibition will open on The Platform called Gallery Barmur, a jewelry and visual art project that Tinna and her husband, artist Sigtryggur Baldvinsson, founded and ran from 1996–1998.
