CLAIMCARDWORKSHOP

The demands and wishes, hopes and desires of kids today and kids of the settlement age will be discussed and everyone can have their say. Claim cards will then be designed and prepared and the joy of creativity will prevail.

Dagrún Ósk Jónsdóttir, an ethnographer, and Ásgerður Heimisdóttir, a craftswoman and designer, lead the workshop, which is intended for the whole family. The workshop is free and part of the project Við langeldinn / Við eldhúsborðið, which is funded by the Icelandic Children’s Cultural Fund and is intended to make children think about what is similar and different with the lives of children during the settlement age and today.
