On Wednesday, September 10 at 12:15 PM, Hulda Kristín Hauksdóttir and Kristrún Rut H. Antonsdóttir will present their research findings at the event Dialogue with a designer at the Museum of Design and Applied Art at Garðatorg.

The two received a grant from the Icelandic Student Innovation Fund through Rannís to research hand knitting in Iceland and had a workspace at the museum over the summer. They conducted academic research, knitted samples, tested new knitting techniques, conducted interviews, and worked creatively with the hand knitting tradition. The results of their research will be presented to guests at Dialogue with a designer, where coffee, kleinur, and a cozy atmosphere will be offered.
