Anna Gulla’s mobiles are made from homegrown rye straw and wire. Working in an intuitive way, using both traditional and unconventional techniques when constructing the mobiles, they take on a spontaneous form that play with light and tension.
While inspired by grass swallowing up metal fencing over time and the concepts of chaos theory and radical fragility she question ideas of strength through the combination of materials.
The objects are sophisticated and wild at the same time.
