Petit Pli is best known for its patented Clothes That Grow, garments that expand bi-directionally to fit growing children across multiple sizes.
Founded in London by Ryan Mario Yasin, an Imperial College London and Royal College of Art graduate trained in aeronautical engineering and innovation design.
The idea emerged from Yasin’s research into deployable structures for small satellites and a personal moment watching his newborn nephew rapidly outgrow his clothes.
The design has been recognized globally, including being named one of TIME’s Best Inventions, Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas, and winning multiple international design and innovation awards.
